How SIETZ AUTO Technologies collects, uses and protects your personal information — in compliance with India's IT Act 2000 and DPDP Act 2023.

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how SIETZ AUTO Technologies Pvt. Ltd.("SIETZ AUTO", "we", "our" or "the Company") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information obtained through our website www.sietz-india.com ("the Website").

This Policy is formulated in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) of India, wherever applicable.

By accessing or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to the practices described in this Policy.

The Grievance Officer is the primary point of contact for any concern regarding the collection, use, storage or disclosure of your personal data. All requests to exercise data rights (Section 06) should also be directed to the Grievance Officer.

Personal Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

a) Contact Form Data

When you submit a business inquiry via our Contact Us page, we collect your name, company name, email address, phone number and message content.

b) Career Application Data

If you apply for a position, we collect your name, email address, phone number, resume/CV and any other information you choose to provide.

c) Technical & Log Data

Our web servers automatically collect your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL and the pages you visit. This data is used solely for website security and performance.

d) Cookies

Small text files placed on your device. See Section 08 (Cookies & Tracking) for full details.

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as financial information, health records, biometric data or government identification numbers through this website.

We collect and use personal data only for the purposes described below. We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing or sell it to any third party.

  • Right to Grievance Redressal — File a complaint with our Grievance Officer or, if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act, 2023.
  • Right to Nominate — Under the DPDP Act, 2023, nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf.

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

a) Service Providers

We use trusted third-party providers for website hosting and email delivery. These providers process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations and are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.

b) Legal Requirements

We may disclose personal data if required by applicable law, a court order, or a lawful request from a government authority.

c) Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition or restructuring, personal data may be transferred to the successor entity under equivalent data protection obligations.

No personal data collected through this website is transferred outside India without ensuring appropriate safeguards as required by the DPDP Act, 2023.

Data Retention & Policy Updates

Retention Periods

  • Contact form inquiries: up to 3 years from the date of last communication.
  • Career applications (unsuccessful): up to 1 year from date of decision.
  • Career applications (successful/ongoing employment): per applicable labour law.
  • Technical server logs: up to 90 days on a rolling basis.

After the applicable retention period, personal data is securely deleted or anonymised.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
